Introducing our Senior Pastors
Jonathan and Jessica Colón
Rendezvous Church was launched on December 4, 2022, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, by Pastors Jonathan and Jessica Colón with a vision to create a place where people can truly encounter Jesus. What began as a small step of faith has grown into a vibrant community rooted in worship, family, and purpose. Together with their three children, the Colóns lead with hearts devoted to serving God and the people of Bridgeport.

Our Foundation of Faith in Jesus Christ
What we believe
At Rendezvous Church, our faith is rooted in the truth of God’s Word. We hold to the core beliefs of Christianity as revealed in Scripture and centered on Jesus Christ. Here’s what we believe:
The Bible is God’s Word.
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16–17). It is the foundation for all we believe and practice.
One True God.
We believe in one God who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19).
Jesus Christ is Lord.
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God—fully God and fully man—who lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead, and will return again (John 1:1–14; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:11).
Salvation by Grace Through Faith.
We believe that salvation is a free gift from God, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone—not by works (Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 10:9–10).
The Holy Spirit Empowers Us.
We believe the Holy Spirit lives in every believer, empowering us for holy living, spiritual growth, and effective ministry (Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:22–23; Romans 8:9).
The Church is God’s Family.
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship, grow in discipleship, serve others, and share the Gospel with the world (Ephesians 4:11–13; Matthew 28:19–20).
Water Baptism and Communion.
We believe in water baptism by immersion and in taking communion as outward expressions of our faith and obedience to Christ (Matthew 28:19; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26).
Eternal Life and Judgment.
We believe in eternal life with God for all who believe in Christ and eternal separation for those who reject Him (John 3:16; Revelation 20:11–15).
